FreshCo Ltd. is a Canadian chain of deep discount supermarkets. Owned by Sobey’s, the first Freshco opened its doors in March of 2010. By April 2019, there were close to 100 Freshco stores. In 2017, Sobeys did some re-branding of many of their Safeway and Sobeys stores in Western Canada and turned them into FreshCo stores.
