Screwfix is the UKs largest retailer of tools, accessories, and hardware products. They specialise in selling to professionals and tradespeople and have special deals for members, although anyone can shop there. Screwfix was founded in 1979 by Jon Goddard-Watts, and was originally called Woodscrew Supply Company. They originally only sold screws, but have since expanded their product range and changed their name to the Screwfix that we all recognise today.

The Screwfix slogan is “You Want To Fix Something, We Can Screw It Up For You” and highlights that they are able to assist with fixing anything related to the home or garden. There are plenty of Screwfix stores – currently over 700 throughout Ireland and the UK. Their opening hours are seven days a week from 7am until 8pm (and closing at 4pm on Sundays). Their stores are located at the following locations: London, Bath, Manchester, Dundee, and Glasgow to name a few.
